Body contouring is a treatment option for patients who wish to slim down and sculpt specific areas of their bodies that simply won’t respond to exercise or a healthy diet.
At our clinic, we offer both surgical and non-surgical procedures that target different zones to reduce excess fat.
CoolSculpting uses several slightly curved applicators to target stubborn bulges or fat deposits in the abdominal region. It should be noted, however, that this is not a weight loss procedure and is not suitable for obese or overweight patients with excess weight in their midsections.
CoolSculpting for the abdomen is best suited for generally healthy and fit people who need to target and tone smaller areas of the midsection, such as a persistent bulge in the front or below the belly button.
The flanks are the area between the ribs and the hip, and many people find it impossible to slim down this zone using diet and exercise. Because it’s a slightly larger area, larger applicators may be used for the flanks.
This treatment can freeze fat cells along the side of the body to target love handles or to tone and define the waist area. It may also be used to target the back of the flanks, the fat found on the upper back, or for getting rid of the “bra roll.”
Both men and women often have a difficult time reducing fat in the thigh area as well. To address this hard-to-tone zone, CoolSculpting freezes and kills fat cells so that they can be removed permanently. With fewer fat cells, it should be easier to maintain your slimmer results in the long term. CoolSculpting applicators can be applied to the outer and inner thighs as needed. This may mean your treatment will take longer than for a smaller area.
The body stores fat in many locations, including on the arms. After weight loss, this area may still be a source of dissatisfaction for patients. CoolSculpting uses smaller applicators to target this area and remove fat cells for good.
Chin and Neck
CoolSculpting is also a safe and non-invasive method to treat a double chin, which is a common issue that occurs with age or weight gain. Sometimes a double chin remains even after losing excess weight over the rest of the body.
Using the CoolSculpting method, it is possible to reduce excess fat under the chin immediately, and your results will continue to improve over a few weeks following the procedure. For some patients, a small amount of visible swelling or bruising may occur after treating this area which could be visible for a short time.
